The order follows a complaint lodged by school teacher Shgufta Shah in 2017, citing harassment, intimidation, and mental agony during Memon’s tenure as the Principal of a Public School Hyderabad.

The ombudsman’s order establishes that Memon, without challenging the allegations, had sent text and video messages to Shah after working hours and attempted to interfere in her personal life. Consequently, Memon is promptly removed from his position as Chairman of BISE Larkana.

The ombudsman has imposed a Rs 300,000 fine, directing the provincial government to pay it to Shah from the accused’s service benefits within 30 days through the office of the ombudsman.
